Dun Scaith is the end of the Mhachi series...?

Hello!

I'm here because something is really bugging me since Patch 3.5 released. As everyone is aware, Dun Scaith was introduced, bringing the Sky Pirates story and Mhach series of raids to a closure, an awesome one in my opinion.

What's strange is that, according to the Letter from the Producer Live XXXIII, Dun Scaith wasn't going to be the end to the Mhach series:

The next entry in the Mhach series is Dun Scaith. This was going to be the end of the series, but there may be something else in store... We'll go over more information in the next Letter from the Produce LIVE, so hang tight!

They said they would release more information about "what's in store" for the Mhach series in Letter from the Producer Live XXXIV, but nothing was said at all, except that the raid was made shorter.

Is it possible for a developer to bring us some insight about this, so maybe we could look forward for more awesome stories about Mhach in the next patches before Stormblood?

Well, it could be the last part of the void ark, weeping city, dun scaith series, but the characters involve Including the last boss could be use somewhere else.

I'd be curious to see where they could go from here. The Mhachi series gave us some very insightful information to the final days of the Mhachi Nation. We could possibly try to look further back before the Floods became a concern for the Black Mages and Void Mages. There were some potential other avenues to go down in the Weeping City of Mhach after all.

We still have two patches to go so its possible there will be some more single-player content to go. As well I believe people have found out that our buddies from the quest now show up at the Gold Saucer so if nothing else they haven't been written completely out yet.

I got the feeling that we'll go on more adventures with the the Redbills and Talons. Maybe they'll take us to the Floating City of Nym -whom they were at war with- or even get more information on their war with Amdapor.

The war of Magi have always fascinated me, so it will be nice to see more informations and/or ruins of that time.

I'm pretty sure Dun Scaith was the end of that particular questline...

But they ended it all with pretty much a "Until we meet again", implying they're gonna be involved in some other questline in the future.
If they do much more side quest content before Stormblood, it might be before the expansion, but it's most likely going to be something in the expansion...

Took me a sec to recall but if you have done all of the Warring Triad and Mhachi raid content it might connect as to why we are going to see more of these locales.

You can still see the Void Ark flying around in Churning Mists and SoC, and we have a diadem revamp coming up.......maybe related?
