Personal Raid Markers

It would be nice if we could have personal raid markers. These would be invisible to other players and only show up on our own mini maps. (i.e. a 1/2/3 to go with the A/B/C).

Sometimes there are extra mechanics that maybe one person feels they struggle with but the main raid markers are used for important things that benefit everyone. One example I can think of is when the group has to separate for AoEs in Thordan EX. In the heat of battle a person might feel lost but if they can look at their mini map and see the 1/2/3 they themselves placed they immediately can feel safe in knowing where they need to run to not kill anyone else. (Same for when Shiva EX first came out).

Quality of life at best but it would help a lot if the time and resources could be spared. Please notice me, senpai D:

I could see this both being useful for those who are still learning mechanics but also bad due to how much will clutter the field with abc and 123 on the field and minimap

Wouldn't mind at least a 4th alliance/party waymark.

You can mark a flag in your minimap to help. It's not in the arena, but you can face the direction of the flag looking to your minimap. ^^

Even just a D for personal use would be nice. Another thing that would be nice would be a personal marker for another player, so if you need to keep close to someone specific you don't have to scramble around looking for them or borrow one of the existing markers everyone else can see. I used to get marked often in FL so new melee players wouldn't drift too far away from my heals and I found it a little disconcerting since I could see it too ;p

I would think that this could cause much more confusion. First people have to see where the "important" markers are, than look at their own map to see their "personal" markers and in some fights where you have just seconds to move to specific positions that could cause a even bigger cluster f.....

I think recording your own fights and than taking a look at the whole fight in replay could be more helpful. At least than you could even put your own markers in the video (if you have the right editing programs), so next time you attempt this fight, you would have a better view of the fight and can just concentrate on the "more important" markers. While learning the overall mechanics, after a while you wouldn't even need any markers anymore, depending how comfortable you're getting with fights.

While I don't mind extra things being added to the game, that might help players improving overall, I just don't want to run into a person, that tells me he wiped the party because he mixed up the personal from the important markers etc. But that's just my thought on that.

I'd like to be able to put marks on players and locations without it showing up for the rest of the party as well. It would be particularly useful in 8+ party size dungeons. Typically, I'd like to mark the other tank and both healers, so I can know at a glance where they are. I doubt everyone in a group wants all those extra marks cluttering their screens, so I don't do it... but I'd like to!
