Thread: Would the 4.0 benchmark be dropping this week?

I would very much like to preorder the game when it starts, particularly the collector's edition which as i understand is a limited edition,but am unsure if my computer would be able to play it. 3.0 benchmark was a big help last time and I'm wondering if they are planning to drop it this week of am i SOL that i have to wait after fan Fest?

I think it's unlikely SB's system requirements will be much if at all higher than HW. While PS3 support is being dropped, the game still has to be designed within the confines of the PS4.

I'd like them to release it with the preorders too. This is important for people with low to mid-end machines since they are changing the requirements.

I don't believe the HW benchmark was released until sometime after pre-orders were available. So it probably won't be released this week.

Wasn't the 3.0 benchmark announced before the pre orders? If anything, we would have known by now. They wouldn't just throw it out in silence.

Take the printed system requirements with a grain of salt. Actual system requirements for games tend to differ. (Sometimes for the better, sometimes the opposite)

If you can have playable framerates in Idyllshire at peak times and 24 man raids, I highly doubt you will not be able to handle what SB throws at you.

I don't know what settings you've got, but my second machine has a GT 430 in it (!) and that runs it just fine on "normal desktop" settings. The processor in it is a i7-950 though which is quite old, but still has some oomph. Maybe your performance issues are being bottlenecked by your processor?
