Put back the chat feature, Why is SE not responding to this? toxic spaming

My friend just lost a match because a toxic player was spamming attack healer and not the person with the most medals. This auto message thing is more toxic then with normal chat. We can't coordinate, it is so hard to get across attack this person because they got 200+ medals!!!!!!!!!!

is this a serious thread? i agree that chat needs to come back but you should not need chat to know to attack someone with 200 medals.

Yes, please read what I wrote, the sole reason of the loss, no one was focus firing on them because the black mage was spamming attack healer. This no chat is more toxic then with it, and it is so hard to tell people change jobs.

Well... no. the premade messages are definetly not toxic. It can only be considered spam if someone hits the button like crazy. But its not toxic. Only annoying.

that is exactly what happened, my friend kept trying to mark the 200 medal person and would hit the attack melee button, every time she did this, the black mage targeted the healer and hitting healer. After about 2-3 cycle both where hitting it faster then the message lets it appear. My friend said she try hit it 2-3 times before it appeared and the other person was responding in the same time intervals, so yes, it was toxic spaming and match hindrance, both of which are violations of the ToS

i'm honestly not understanding. just because someone was spamming 'attack healer' does not mean your friend or their team could not attack the person they chose to, and it's pretty straightforward to tell how many medals someone is carrying around if you just pay attention.

This is exactly 1 of the case where chat would help . OK that guy is spamming attack healer , i type DONT LISTEN TO HIM MELEE HAS MEDALS FOCUS HIM! , maybe if team mate read that we win.

Yep, my friend did her best to deal with it.
What she did was mark the BLM with the ignore tag (you know the ignore 1, ignore 2, meant for monsters?) and kept changing the 1 to the melee and kept trying to do the "attack melee" thing but no one listened and she thinks the spam fighting made every scatter, no one was focusing on anything and that is why they lost because points stopped being exchanged.

One time as healer I requested for defense materials, no one else did, this other healer takes them, runs to the center and and there. I was trying to tell them back up with making him with target signs but nothing happened and there goes a wasted defense supplies -.-, i couldn't say the fall back because I got no macro room

Half the time people don't pay attention to those messages anyway and do whatever they want. There's other marks too, which she could have tried. Also the "Get The Medals" + "Attack Melee" could have worked, but with the other person chat spamming as you said, I doubt anyone even paid them attention.

I have NOTHING against you personally whatsover Ama....but your words kinda made me hardlol. SEs managed to remove the chat feature altogether and yet the word 'toxic' is still getting tossed around like a cheap ragdoll. If you call something like the above toxic.....you sincerely want chat back? Reallieee?
