It'll most likely be in march (3.56 also known as 3.5b). Probably a decreased to 150-200 Lore, and maybe an increased chance of getting bonus points.

Rumours are (based upon a video interview with Yoshi) that 3.51 next week will bring the nerf to the oils & 3.55, in mid February, will nerf the umbrite. They are likely to be the last nerfs to the Anima Relic until 4.0.

Crystal sand is easy though. level 60 leves, poetics for items, trading in moonstones. loads of things to trade for whereas umbrite only have Lore

Let's be real here, they are both atrocious. I abused the Leve method for about 70 of my sands.

They could have easily added different options of obtaining Umbrite by now, good thing once i had blm Relic done i slowly started to stock pile for my next Relic and now i do not need any for my Bard
Sand i usually use blue script turn in or use tomes to buy the 2 needed items to trade or GC seals for Moonstone

Yeah, I found this step to be rather ridiculous simply because it's only one way to get the item versus the multitude of ways for the Sand.

But like everyone else has stated: You can't look at it and be frustrated by the amount of work it takes. Just do your daily routine, and it'll come along the way. And after you hit that halfway mark, it really does get nice with the bonuses. I was able to finish the weapon with 2 +5 bonuses which was a great relief.

It isn't the greatest part of the grind, but like anything else, don't make it your main focus. Just do it, steady as she goes.
