I called it!
I called it!
So it was Shinryu after all.
dosent the primal being Shinryu kinda mess up the lore of primals?
i mean the catalyst's for the primal were crying out for Rhalgr to avenge them warent thay? didant griffen make sure of this? or dose everyone really think Rhalgr was a dragon god?
It was explained in the story. Ilberd wished a Calamity the likes of Bahamut upon Garlemald not for Rhalgr to come and kick ass.
ilberd sed
'ow yes i know there limitations-wich is why i will call upon a deity more terrible than the very black wyrm of the calamity itself!'
he didant say anything about summening bahamut 2.0 :/ (or 3.0 if you wana count the original bahamut)
He was using the eyes of Bahamut's broodbrother as a aetheric battery, and was probably thinking of that great dragon that dealt the first defeat of the Garlean invasion.
I am less bothered by its dragon form as if Ilberd was thinking about another calamity and had experienced Bahamut I could see him thinking of something much the same. However my issue is from what we know Primals require worshipers to maintain them and to our knowledge Shinryu has none or at least none that worship this form of Shinryu. Even Bahamut needed worshipers so what makes this Primal different?
Think Primal EX summonings (blood sacrifices).
Pro DPS tactic: Big glowing orange AOE = "Stand here to boost your DPS!"
