Most of the other items you mention can be repurchased from the Calamity Salvager for a pittance of gil, though I'm not sure about the Vanu or Vath gear, since I haven't competed the Heavensward beast tribes yet?

The Lucis tools you're absolutely right about, though; those need to be added to either the salvager or the armoire, along with all the promotional gear mentioned previously.

AND the wedding gear, because for Shiva's sake, that's eight green/blue items that can't be reobtained without spending real money and getting a divorce.

You can store the Songbird gear? That's great news. Mine is in my retainer because I couldn't store it after I got it, maybe it was ninja patched. XD

You probably didn't have it at 100% durability. I've done that before without realizing.

It does give you a "warning" window tho, telling you that the durability has dropped under 100% you're not allowed to store it. But other then that, I have to second that, you can store most of the event and game bonus items in there. The only exception is the gear that you've gotten from "special" events. Example, the maid outfit you could get from one of their campaigns or items you get in game after purchasing the physical copy off it via mog station, however mostly after 3 or 4 smaller patches they will fix it. I would like to see the items obtained via achievements to be stored in there, but that's about it. I don't think we need story line items store able since you can pick them back up at the npc.

Achievement items can, indeed, be stored in the Armoire. All of them, as far as I'm aware. They even get their very own special tab in it!

I was talking more about the garo gear, as far as I am aware you can't store them in there yet. Then again I have not checked in the last couple of weeks, it might have changed but thanks for pointing out that special tab, that has nothing to do with it!

They said they don't plan to let you store the Garo gear in the Armoire. But, if you got the achievement for the job's Garo gear, you can rebuy it from the calamity salvager. Well except for the accessories, belt and shield because those items aren't required to get the achievements. Its really cheap to rebuy with gil too. So make sure you can rebuy from the calamity salvager, and then throw them out.

My apologies, I misinterpreted what you actually said to mean what you actually said, i.e, achievement items (items obtained via completing sections in the achievement log and then speaking to Johanthas in Gridania). Sadly I'm not a mind reader, so I didn't realize you meant ordinary gear items which happen to grant an achievement if you wear them under certain conditions.
