Still Prohibited from Zoning Back Into Housing in 4.0?

SE, are we going to be able to zone back into our personal housing in 4.0? I like having the house (or apt) as private, and zoning out of the house every time you instance is a (minor) annoyance.

EDIT: As a quick FYI, we had this feature before. SE pulled it out.

To be fair, the Inns that while yes are the same for everyone do allow the player to log back into said area, so it is reasonable to ask if it will be possible to stay in your own house/apartment when 4.0 comes around.

Gmerc, you did know that we actually had this at one point in time and they took it away? People were glitching out of the house, and instead of patching it, they simply removed our ability to zone back into the house.

I believe the technical reason for this is that since houses aren't necessarily persistent (they may have been demolished or had furniture and such moved around whilst you were offline) they zone you back in at the entrance as a precaution. Of course it makes no sense to me that they can't just check if it's safe to log you into the house or not and then choose where to spawn your character, but then I don't know how messy their back end is.

Perhaps, though I don't see what players would have to gain by doing it, which would make it less likely for SE to have any reason to patch it out. There are many housing-related glitches that have been in since the system was first released that have never been patched because there's no real harm in it. If players were accidentally glitching out of their house simply by logging in, however, then that would be what I was talking about in my previous post.

To be honest there are a number of elements of the housing system that still feel somewhat like placeholders, as though the team haven't had time to finish them. The upstairs doorway onto the balcony in mansions springs to mind... I wouldn't be surprised if they simply haven't prioritised fixing the process for doing a sanity check on login position within a house.
