Samurai? Blue Mage? What about a Hybrid. The Shugoki!

There is unnecessary conflict between those who want Blue and those that want Sam, but there doesn't need to be.

In an upcoming game called For Honor. There is a war between Samurai, Knights and Vikings. One of the Samurai's in the game has an awesome samurai aesthetic that could also easily use blue magic skills.

Introducing The SHUGOKI!



This guy is sooo cool looking and he fits all our needs. He IS a Samurai. He's blue and Wields a Large Kanabo that can deal blunt damage. He would obviously fill a tank spot.

This guy is a quadruple threat! I can definitely see him using Blue Magic abilities and this will be a unique way of uniting all the fan bases.

So there it is an awesome Blue Mage/Samurai Hybrid all rolled up into one So what do you guys think?

I can't speak for anyone else, but I'd rather wait for two separate classes, than have two merged. I'd much rather have had Astrologian and Time Mage, rather than the combo we have now. I think I would feel the same for Blue Mage and Samurai.

You'd have a pretty difficult time justifying a DPS role Time Mage. Most folks who pondered how it could be implemented knew from the start that it was destined to be a Healer, and we got it.

As for this obvious joke idea, I think we all know if they revealed a Samurai that doesn't wield Katana there would be riots. Everyone get your Pink Skirts.

won't happen for no other reason than its not a tactics job, still it does look pretty brutal :P Other reason why it prolly wouldn't really fit in, we wont see anything go past warrior in the brutal scale :P
