    Any justifications to the Feast chat removable is completely unacceptable.

    I can't believe what I've been reading here and on reddit, two sides for and against the Feast chat removal.

    People who think SE is going in the right direction with this is delusional at best, sure you've been called some names and you didn't like it but that is the nature of online games. I've seen FAR worse stuff in PvE than in PvP and it happens more regularly in your daily Expert roulette than it does in your Feast matches.

    I haven't played CoD before but if I went to go play some online matches and got called a tosser, I'd just go "oh CoD" and continue playing. Same with Overwatch, same with CS:GO, same with just about any other game with multiplayer experiences.

    It's just a bandaid for the stuff SE doesn't want to do or has any idea how to do. Why wasn't there a blacklist/mute option for players you don't like? (before, I know there is cross-server bl this patch) Why did SE admit that their GM team is small so they had to do this? That's not our problem, it's yours and literally the first rule in customer service which SE fails time and time again to provide.

    Don't get me wrong, PvP players LOVE this patch. Garo and Freelance has revived Frontlines and Feast where pops are instant but this chat removable is going to remove some of your most loyal players in the PvP community if it stays.

    I like the suggestion where toxic players would get muted or reduced to using these preset messages for a certain period of time.
    As it stands, if you get new players you can't even help them understand the mode in the pre-match phase.
    Also the message system is severely lacking e.g. you can't ask for mp or tell a specific player to pick up the medals.

    I agree bro. They should also make a mandatory chat filter, it blows my mind people tick the uncensored box but get upset if someone calls them an expletive. Having a message system where there are macros like "Everybody attack!" just shows how much the DEVS play pvp. It's player vs player. It's a given you are supposed to attack, if you don't know that you're in the wrong mode.

    DT is way more toxic, and you at least have the option to kick. If a healer was to pull all adds people wouldn't bother wasting time with him and he'd end up getting kicked. So what's the difference? There is none. Except kicking isn't an option so you have to work with what you've got and a lot of the time people have such a bad attitude when someone offers them advice.

    Sadly the difference now is everybody gets offended and nobody actually has the guts to go through the hard miles or even have the courtesy to ask for advice anymore. The amount of times I got called shit, and still do and still try to keep learning. People QQ when someone calls them bad for taking 10 stacks and then people on forums end up mollycoddling them along with the GMs. It feeds this "I can't be offended" culture which has now transpired into feast chat being muted.

    What real problems do GMs face? It's hard to think of any since they are not in charge of dealing with bots/RMT/hacks.

    You mean to tell me the GM's actually spent any time in seasons past working on this "problem"? If they had punished repeated offenders consistently it wouldn't have gotten to this point in the first place lol. And the devs already spend a minimal amount of time on the pvp aspect of this game anyway its not a legitimate reason as to why they cant handle/work on the "real problems" the game suffers such as the updates to PVE being very formulaic, stale and predictable (get two dungeons, a primal, some main scenario quests, 24 man or 8 main raid on alternate patches, Hildebrand quest , and some QoL adjustments (though much appreciated) every patch.). Completely new additions to the game such as diadem and palace of the dead are extremely few and very far between.
