And it's also localized in several languages. What I believe to be the real issue is scheduling. This game gets a lot of praise from the fan base for its narrative, but with some of the rushed endings and plot points we've had, I don't think most of the script is written until fairly late in the process. It doesn't give a lot of time to schedule voice sessions.

    Sure, they have fans, but it doesn't really compare as VA fandom in Japan is on a wholly different level. The highest profile ones have idol status akin to rock stars. But you're probably right about scheduling, as VA's in Japan are extremely busy doing a lot more than just voice acting.
