WARRIOR PVP 3.5 Need Help..

Hello All,

I am quite new to the game actually I started like 5 months ago and did quit the game 2 months ago because I was not satisfied with the PVP queue times. I love FFXIV's pve but I can't only pve. So with the new patch I wanted to give it a try again and I'm glad I did because the queue times are really fast and so. The thing is I need a guide for Warrior pvp. I couldn't find an up to date one.I can't really burst down a player as Warrior ( maybe I'm not supposed to? or I do something wrong ? ) so what should I be doing as Warrior. Most of the time I go for the healers but a healer can out heal my dps easily. Since all item lvl is synced i don't know whether I have some item issues or not. Could anyone explain me the ffxiv pvp mechanics or warrior mechanics since I'm fairly new, my role as a warrior in pvp, suggest me pvp gear and bis for pvp? Some of my questions might sound noobish but i could not find much information.

Well in feast 4v4 you need to work with your team and set up a plan..oh wait...But best i can say for feast is work with your group and keep the healer harresed dont have to kill them solo. Or as a WAR what i see people do is just help burst down the DPS/Healer before they can do anything. Best thing you could do is talk with your group.....

pvpaissa can give you a general gist for gearing, but their class guides section is sadly pretty barebones. What I do for burst as a war is set up double fell cleave, weaving in internal release and berserk with fully traited full swing during the first storm's eye combo, if they have any hp left a quick mercy stroke will finish them off. If there's a better way then I hope someone else speaks up but try that for now.

This works very well, but there are a few additional things you can do while building for the Cleaves. If you're at 4 stacks, you can actually Holmgang -> Berserk -> Full Swing -> Internal Release -> Mythril Tempest -> Cleave -> Infuriate -> Cleave.

This ensures they're stunned for both cleaves and prevents anyone nearby from CCing you. Of course this particular burst rotation isn't going to be available all the time, but when it's there, it's viable.
