The feast does cause stress because it's competitive in nature however the toxicity of other players is a totally unavoidable stress which can impact on everyone's performance. Furthermore this acts as a double stressor due to the nature of the feast with added toxicity making it a bitter atmosphere.

Look at it like sports: Even the best players lose. Sometimes the lesser team wins. Victory goes to whoever works the hardest for it and wants it the most.

But say I put you on a team where no one speaks and no one listens. Can you win? Do you truly expect to win? More importantly, if and when you lose would you even know why? Would you be okay with losing and not knowing why?

Since this patch I have had leavers, people making mistakes (as well as myself sometimes) but I have still managed to win my plat promo so it is doable. You can still recognise why you lose at the end via stats at the end. Even before this patch people didn't listen and just did their own thing so I don't think much has changed. Taking note of the health bars of your party is helpful because you can see when to LB (Tank/Healer), cover a teammate via CC also it's never wise to use enhancing abilities when a dps teammate is dead (imo).

I'm not sure why people still think that factors that affect both teams equally are factors at all when it comes to win/loss. If the team with the monk always wins, what happens if there's a monk on both teams? Causal paradoxon and the end of the known world? >_>
For some reason, in every PvP game, people bring that sort of stuff up in one context or another. If you just want to bash the chat restriction as such, please do, but don't grasp at straws while there are ladders in ample suppy >_>
