The Feast is SO much better without chat

Still, censoring the chat is wrong and doesn't help new players. This will kill PVP faster than before.

Also, OP post is based on hate to other players, so it's not really a good example about how to censor the chat or not.
We shouldn't encourage a general censorship just because few players are toxic.

So, Please tell me how chat banned has benefited you in learning the feast 4v4. oh wait. you can't say anything to ask for help. Nor have I never seen you ever within this season. If you are going to go and insult people that are "emotionally stunted juveniles" you should at least play the game mode that these "emotionally stunted juveniles" came from.

meanwhile, my wife is being called a bitch and told to dominate people sexually when she tries to be helpful and explain seal rock as being similar to domination from call of duty. I hope Yoshida enforces more restrictions until you get sick of being punished and learn to behave. (and by "You" i dont mean everyone. I mean the people with the tough-it-up-buttercup attitudes and the belief that its ok to be a prick all they want towards others)
I dont care about the chat at all because even in seal rock it rarely proves useful. I keep seeing ASCII art of pigs with overly large penises spammed across shout. This community doesnt deserve a chat until it changes or the FFXIV team learns some way of enforcing players to be decent human beings towards their fellow players.

2. You do realize she is trying to explain and command a entire possible 72man frontlines which can be more difficult to manage.
3. If you don't "tough it up buttercup" and ignore the negative/the immature. you aren't going to get very far.
4. If you don't care about chat or this ban at all, why are you even adding your 2 cents opinion when you say the community doesn't deserve a chat. make up your mind. It's either you care or not.
5. your Frontlines experience doesnt matter as if that is something you can compare to with feast. (also, you shouldn't be the one posting for your wife.)

I completely agree with you here. I am 100% capable of dealing with trash-talking as I am an adult and if someone wants to taunt me from behind a computer screen then hey, whatever helps them sleep at night. Just as you said, I too really would like feedback from my party, negative or positive, because that's how I will improve my performance. However; now I am stuck waiting for replies on a thread here in the PvP section of the forum on tips on how to be better at this or that.

It's not an ideal fix. They need ramp up reporting and punishing toxic players and allow the rest of us the freedom to chat.

Disabling chat was a mistake, and I'm almost sure SE knew before it was introduced. Because it's very obvious. If I am wrong, however, ........THEN WE ARE IN BIG TROUBLE! .

I'd like to think they're just trying it out to see how people feel towards it, and to see if people like their new PVP macros feature. which are obviously not great!

with the new PVP achievements to have more people queue for feast to actually receive feedback about it!

I'm just glad they chose this time to do it, and not preseason 4 nor season 4 launch,
since before patch 3.5, feast was almost dead anyway.

I have big giant hopes they're gonna enable chat next patch! ♥

if they're not, then I expect a lot of very good players quitting the feast, or maybe the game

I actually prefer the new feature the feast is so much more enjoyable now and even at higher tiers I still found toxicity. Previous to this I found it a stressful experience and now I find it an enjoyable experience after work.

I don't know how I feel about this. I think if you don't want a stressful experience, you shouldn't be playing a ranked matchmaking mode. I'm stressed out with or without chat, I want to win, I try my best, and I get down on myself if I do something that makes my team lose (anyone who has watched me stream knows this). If my teammates aren't putting in the same effort as me, I feel like it is disrespectful. One time, my tank died because he didn't back when I died I said "????", and he replied, "been on the phone all match xD lol". People like this are the problem with the ranked community in my opinion, I'd rather someone get upset with me because I know they care about the game. I put 100% into every ranked match I play, and I expect the same from my teammates. If you aren't stressed out, either you aren't putting 100% into the match, or you are some kid of stoic god.
