The Feast is SO much better without chat

I have around 1497+ Games in the feast counting S1, S2 and S3, I have never EVER seen anything as bad as that ever.

Keep in mind that this is taken out of context. It's entirely possible that it's real, but it's also entirely possible that it's not. I've gotten into "toxic" arguments with people I know in the party all the time, but it's not actually serious because I know the person I'm flaming. I once told my healer, "I WILL EAT YOUR F***ING BABIES!" in chat because she gave me crap for pulling big (which she had actually requested in FC chat). Without context, our party probably thought that I was a total asshole. Meanwhile, my healer was laughing in FC chat and said "that should get me my last few comms" for her achievement. I called her a b****, but it was all in good fun. Nothing serious, yet someone, somewhere, probably thought it was toxic chat.

After you said that it might be real but the thing is it is likely at the end of a conversation talking about how one ends with 2 medals, 6 deaths an 1 assist. the person might of been questioning if this person was feeding on purpose, or playing badly just to provoke that reaction to "prove a point" But I think I was right in questioning it, and in some way, whatever the circumstance of those tells, esp with the "thank you reply" (to me this tells me the topic maker is sarcastic and likely acting in a way to provoke this kind of talk on themselves regardless) was some kind of set up.

It is more suspicious to me at this point that the maker of this thread did not come here and explain more of that situation. Regardless this is a case of one person being bad so the whole community needs to suffer? i do not think so, I will not stand to be bullied by a vocal minority.

Have you really thought about this? If a person kills another person with a car, should we ban all cars? at one point do you blame the person and not the system? Do you think you have nothing to do with this toxicity? Did you ever think a know it all PvE person will not like to be told "protect does not work in PvP" " BRD and MCH damage varies by distance" Do you realize the people being blamed for being toxic might not be at fault? Did you ever consider the person being so called "toxic" at the new player is out of frustration for refusing to listen? Some people do no take kindly to advice at all, Like:
"Hey you need to esuna sludge, it looks like a red icon with yellow lines, it is why people are dying and making it hard for you to keep people healed"
"Do not tell me what to do, I know how to play"
If this was in pvp I can so picture a high rank person snapping at this point from ill feelings they should not lose points because unwilling to cooperate.

I don't have a cause of any kind and no, that short exchange wasn't a ruse on my part. Of course, I could post the screenshot without the name blurred, but wouldn't that be in a bad taste? And it's not really a big deal, anyway. Seeing such a passionate sentiment froma stranger was amusing, if nothing else.

Bad taste no? it would be a clear violation of the ToS. I could care less outside that.

Purify, attunement, swift cast, Benediction, Tetragrammaton, sacred prism, swiftcast cure II, sprint. I caused a landslide on sch with 3 people on me doing something similar with Lustrate. I am sure if you knew how to play the field better, you could allowed your team free kills. 1 person? 1 dragoon? that is your excuse? please. People are questining you like anyone else claiming it is a good thing, they want to know if it is coming from veteran PvPers or not. They want to know if the person knows what to do, if the person is more like my exmaple, not taking good advice to provoke people being toxic.

Even if you are completely innocent you are not adressing the root of the situation. If someone kills someone with a car, do we ban all cars? At one point do you blame the people and not the tool? This is where the millennial meme comes from, placing blame at incorret sources and quick to flock to their safe space.

If SE governs the game equally like in PvP, we should remove the novice network, remove all instance chat, and shout chat in uldah and Idyllshire. Now, do you think that is a sound solution? This is why I feel insulted, the rules are not applied equally thus proving a hypercritical stance.

For your claim on being thick skinned, no it is not. If it was thick skinned, you wouldn't made this thread. You might be a competent PvE healer, but from what is presented here? I would heavily question that for PvP. You claiming "things are much better with chat disabled." would not be made by someone by thick skin or someone wanting to learn. If you wanted to learn and if you where thick skin you would ignore the insults and ask what you expect to be done, for advice, you are new to PvP and admit it is not the same as PvE.

LUL the post vanished for some reason, gee, wonder why. I hope you take this post to heart and become a better person inside and outside the game, along with rethinking the way you approach PvP healing.

See here is your proof, first hand, who experience toxic behavior, a lot of times they are asking for it because they reject trying to better themselves, now please return our chat. I do not see governments banning cars because one person is killed. it is the person, not the tool.

Yes please return chat and institute real punishment. No suspensions needed permanent branding with title, permanent spot on the top of general discussions, and the inability to ever enter any pvp instance. The community has proven that they can handle this kind of responsibility and not have an accidental outburst. They have campaigned that chat is only used for good and that they would never cross any line. It is purely an educational and team building tool. They are mature adults and can handle serious consequences when entrusted with certain tools in this environment.

Not sarcastic I 100% believe that they should have chat and suffer real action that every time they login that they have to see it.

No, you make rules stating what people can and can't do with their cars. Can drive up to x speed within the lines. Cannot run people over in a murderous rampage. Seems simple.

Not to mention laws and rules on automakers preventing you from being able to preform certain actions in an automobile.

I would like to have talking back idk how many times gotten a healer or a blm who either stand there looking lost or not casting sleep in the later case and would like to tell them to either move or do something useful buts can't

Even more so when get the groups where everyone split got me on the healer got the rng on the other rng and got the tank on their tank all that while can't kill their healer and ours is off by their melee cause they got no defense and can't say anything to try and fix it either.
