It's hilarious that some of the people saying that chat removal was good thing because Feast chat was so toxic were literally some of the most toxic people inside and outside of Chernobyl.

If stress is not your cup of tea, I'd advise you not to do anything competitive.
The feast does cause stress because it's competitive in nature however the toxicity of other players is a totally unavoidable stress which can impact on everyone's performance. Furthermore this acts as a double stressor due to the nature of the feast with added toxicity making it a bitter atmosphere.
Look at it like sports: Even the best players lose. Sometimes the lesser team wins. Victory goes to whoever works the hardest for it and wants it the most. The feast does cause stress because it's competitive in nature however the toxicity of other players is a totally unavoidable stress which can impact on everyone's performance. But say I put you on a team where no one speaks and no one listens. Can you win? Do you truly expect to win? More importantly, if and when you lose would you even know why? Would you be okay with losing and not knowing why?
Welcome to the Feast in 3.5
Since this patch I have had leavers, people making mistakes (as well as myself sometimes) but I have still managed to win my plat promo so it is doable. You can still recognise why you lose at the end via stats at the end. Even before this patch people didn't listen and just did their own thing so I don't think much has changed. Taking note of the health bars of your party is helpful because you can see when to LB (Tank/Healer), cover a teammate via CC also it's never wise to use enhancing abilities when a dps teammate is dead (imo).Look at it like sports: Even the best players lose. I'm not sure why people still think that factors that affect both teams equally are factors at all when it comes to win/loss. If the team with the monk always wins, what happens if there's a monk on both teams? Causal paradoxon and the end of the known world? >_>
For some reason, in every PvP game, people bring that sort of stuff up in one context or another. If you just want to bash the chat restriction as such, please do, but don't grasp at straws while there are ladders in ample suppy >_>

I prefer disable chat too, since I don't know any macro of japanese, this is good to understand what they mean with this chat button. But it still need more chat like "need MP" or countdown stuff.
^ this guy sounds like such a joy to play with. Definitely not confrontational at all and comes across like a well-adjusted adult who would absolutely have no problems dismissing such blatantly obvious trolling...

^this guy isnt doing much better(talking like hes looking down on me,but...)
You know what? Im going to apologize. You might be right. I might seem confrontational. I probably am. I feel too passionately. Its a habit i have. And quite frankly im pissy. I cant stand the thought of somebody treating my wife that way. If it were in person I would have entered into a physical fight with them. Most men who live where I do would. Where I come from, you dont let people talk to your girl like that. I just sincerely want this toxic crap to stop and people to be moderated. Idk if youve seen it but ive said before "I hope we get chat back", but i also hope that it doesnt include the community getting away with all of this stupidity. Theres a reason why yoshida took the chat and im willing to bet its because he thought it was too toxic. So then if thats true, like i said. It only takes being nice to get the chat back. What do people do? Argue and fight and bad mouth everyone around them trolling and bashing one another like they will never have to worry about consequences.

I guess we're just different. Majority of people would never say those types of things in person, which is why they say them online. The fact you even got remotely upset about it is entertaining to them. I mean it's all pretend, there is legitmately nothing more they could do other than provoke you. After the match, your wife could report such behavior, requeue and continue on playing. I can guarantee by the time she ever came across them again, they'd have forgotten all about her.
It's PvP, you will find this behavior in any game with it. It's a mode where people get enjoyment from killing eachother. There are far darker elements in this game just in the MSQ alone
