I'm extremely disappointed in people who commented aggressively toward in me in this thread. 1. People link my old threads, and devote time into digging into past actions. It's such a waste of time. 2. Make false accusations that I'm more than one person, which is not only incredibly personal, but also inappropriate. I could have bipolar disorder for all you know. Not cool. 3. People refuse to just let it go. It's like every time I try to be positive, people reference my posts from last year, and go on about how awful they think I am. Why is it that people have to witch hunt me on this forum? I play the game, pay for my subscription, and interact with it just like you do. I am not perfect, people aren't going to agree with everything I say, but I would like the online bullying to stop. I feel like no matter what I do on this forum, I'm just going to be that awful person to people, and there won't be any redeeming chances. If I say something people like, then too bad, because I said something they didn't like in the past, but if I say something they don't like, people add it to their arguments. Now please, leave what I do in the past behind, because last year isn't important anymore. All that matters is what we are doing right now. If you don't like me, I understand, but leave me alone. Quit holding grudges against me.

It's not like folks are digging up your threads from years ago. All of them are less than a year old, and the most recent of them, the one about large tank pulls, was started this very month!

Just how are folks supposed to take it, when you make a complaint thread, and then in the very same month complain about how awful the community is because it makes complaint threads all the time? Aren't you calling yourself awful, by that logic?

When you contribute to a problem, and then complain about that problem, yes, that is hypocrisy. It doesn't mean that the point of this thread is bad, but people are going to take it a whole lot less seriously when the one complaining about a problem is a big contributor to the problem.

My point exactly. People don't want to let anything go, because they disagree with my opinions. Now I'm going to please ask you to stop. I don't mean any harm to anyone.

No, you're held accountable for things you've done before. People just don't let things go if someone acts a certain way constantly then tries to start a moral crusade against people acting just like they are. The hypocrisy is too thick for you to just shed and say "well that's in the past guys, dont look at whats happening a month ago, that was then. NOW I am no longer part of the problem I'm complaining about"

The fact that we play the game should be enough reinforcement to prove that we do care about this game. But asking people to simply stop complaining and to just 'enjoy' the game for what it is, actually hurts the community more than the ones complaining about issues they have with the game or the community.

With complaints comes feedback, with feedback comes discussion. I'm still pretty new to the game but not to media in general. I can't simply turn off my brain and avoid critical thinking and just be amused by flashing colors and bright lights. If complaining becomes commonplace than we need to figure out the root of the issue rather than trying to fight each other and suppress discussions that ultimately impact the game. If you're having fun and can't really see why people complain as much as they do, than more power to you for having less of a reason to complain and enjoy what you have. But not everyone will be the same way, nor do we want them to.

My thoughts on the community: sunshine and daisies. From an MMO standpoint this game has by far the most approachable community. Even if i do bash my head against some players, it usually ends quite peacefully.

Most vocal complainers are usually just enthusiastic about the game. Some are angry because they care.

I lost my train of thought.

    Summa summarum. People be people.

Over all the threads you've started, I've noticed that you like to play victim a lot. It usually starts off with you bringing up a controversial subject and then when nobody agrees with you you assume they're being aggressive against you which they're not.

Now this is going to sound like I'm doing exactly what you're accusing everyone of but it has to be said, you really need to develop social skills mate. You have to understand not everyone will agree with you and opposition doesn't always equal aggression.

I don't think bipolar disorder means what you think it means.

I think you might be referring to this.

If multiple unaffiliated individuals are expressing the same concerns with your posts then that should be a pretty good sign that the problem isn't with them but rather your own posting habits, OP. There isn't a grand conspiracy at play here. Most people here don't know who you are. Some, however, have simply recognised your name and avatar from past threads and have chosen to call you out based on perceived hypocrisy.

That isn't entirely unfair. You've been very vocal in the past - and even in this thread you're still being pretty vocal. If you don't want people disagreeing with what you're posting then try to lay low and don't put yourself out there so often. For what it's worth I, too, have bipolar disorder. My advice? If you know and feel that it's affecting you on any given day then simply don't post. It's saved me a lot of trouble in the past by simply recognising what days I probably shouldn't be in front of a keyboard for fear I'll post something I'll come to regret or cringe over later.
