    SE need to change the claim system before adding more NMs. I recently watched an LS fully wiping to Dodore repeatedly for over an hour, each time exploiting the claim system to keep it while it aggroed anyone that went near it. What this means is you could effectively hold an NM forever to stop anyone else getting it. The rage timer gets reset once it loses hate on everyone who was fighting it, but you can keep it claimed.

    After witnessing that it as reaffirmed my opinion that the game should not have any world spawn NMs that drop the best gear in the game, nevermind on long timers. NMs should spawn at least once per game day and their drops should be second best to rarer stuff that can be gotten in instances. They'd serve a purpose still but not be so important that we get the problems XI had and what XIV is starting to see.

    Not sure how you can do this since you can't attack to claim a monster if you keep dying...

    NM: Adamantoise (a giant Turtle)

    Spawn: Only spawns in Gridinia, only when raining

    Drops: Adamantium Mythril - Precious Metal used to make r50 Adamantium Axe, Adamantium Spear and Adamantium Sword weapons

    Abilities: Stomp - Ground based attack reduces HP to 1 of all attackers within a cone in front of the Adamantoise, also has a binding for 15 seconds.
    Abilities: Crush - High dmg attack to single target


    NM: Gargantuan ( Cyclops Beast)

    Spawn: 20 hr respawn rate in a certain area of Thanalan, only when there is a active sandstorm

    Drops: Cyclops Crystal Eye (used in R50 magical wands/staffs), Gargantuan pelt (used to create rank 50 armor)

    Abilities: Cleave - Slashing attack, inflicts poison and dmg to single target
    Abilities: Vulnerable - Debuffs all attackers within a certain radius and reduces Def + Magic.


    NM: Griffin (Half Lion, Half Eagle Beast)

    Spawn: 10hr respawn in La Noscea only when overcast

    Drops: Griffin Feather (used to make fletchlings for arrows) and Griffin Claw (used for r50 Pug weapon)

    Abilities: Maul - Combo hit on 1 target for 10 hits, calculates dmg against targets evade, higher evade means less dmg or potential misses
    Abilities: Plummit - Target is hauled into the air and dropped inflicting instant death.

    Hmm.....You would think they would've fixed this easily with XI as the canvas to approve upon. Basically they're pulling old sky tricks on what today's endgame would call HNM I suppose? lol

    Spawn 1 time per day around Camp Broken water somewhere there
    Drops Claws and Unique Rare item like (Strider boots/Serket ring/Speed belt something like that)
    Abilities Poison Claw! hits the tank with Poison for 10 sec can't be removed must spamm cure !!!
    and mini scorpion come out in mid of fight melee mages have to aoe them!!

    NM:Morbol Queen, Drop: Morbol eye for Thaumaturge unique R50 Brand of Morbol

    Conditions: Dawn time, spawns alone. But in battle can summon 3-8 little morbols. Use Tentacle whip (aerial damage between 900 and 1230 for everyone within range), corrosive breath.
