Because of ps3, thats why.
Because of ps3, thats why.
A game with better models than we currently have CAN run easily on your average PC.
PS3 is the only reason why we never had a graphical update, also, even by the time 1.0 came out, PC's where alredy superior than PS3 in hardware, ...And thus, i blame the PS3. And hell, even as it is the game is almost unplayable on ps3 on some dungeons, let alone raids.
Thankfully now we might see a graphics update when they drop ps3.
Btw, 1.0 had horrible optimization, and that was the problem, but still, if downgraded 2.0 runs with 15 fps on ps3, no way a game with better graphics models could ever dream on running on ps3.
We can blame the lack of more customization options on ps3 too, and many, many other things...And that my friend, is why MMO's are better as plataform exclusives, PC by far being the superior for this kind of game.

Agreed, there is no excuse for 0% texture upgrades once 4.0 is out. They don't have to re-do all the houses/buildings/crystals/pots if they don't want to, but at the very least, they should improve the character models.A game with better models than we currently have CAN run easily on your average PC.
