I want a time locked pot for plants

So yeah i want a pot i can put in my house and plant stuff in that when the plant reaches it's final growth freezes, it becomes a housing item and doesn't change or die, you can't harvest it, all you can do is reset the pot which destroys the plant. it would be perfect for stuff like the new cherry tree plants, or ice light seeds, those little crystals are adorable.
