Neighbor problems.

Has anyone had an issues with neighbors constantly being in your yard or house? I know players can "go wherever they please" as I was told by a gm. But am I alone in finding it incredibly unnerving logging in and finding people sitting in your yard? Even after politely asking them to leave?

Only if they're doing something creepy. Outside is public space, inside is for privacy should you wish it since you can lock the door.

I do lock my doors haha. But coming outside and theres just like a person erping with a cherry tree in my yard honestly is off putting lmao

Redecorate it in the most horrendous way. There was a player on my server that had a bunch of FC's with 2 people in each, and 4 small houses. Each was decorated inside and out to just be annoying. I never met the player but I swear he just did it to be a troll. Luckily when they restarted the demo timer the houses all went poof but it was effective, although inconvenient to you for sure. Sorry about your annoying neighbors. That bites.

Actually, in some countries such as Brazil whatever's behind a fence is private property. I know this is different in-game since we can't lock the front yard, but isn't it kind of common decency not to stand right at someone's door without even talking to them or refusing to leave? And I agree, actually. The in-game front yard is a public space cuz as we all know and I pointed out, we can't lock it. But it is quite rude to do what OP says they're doing.

Now, as for OP, you have the right to report them if they ever say anything harmful to you. The smallest things can get them some jail time. For instance, this one time I was in Frontline and just as it started this person said they didn't care whether we won or lost, so they were going to do whatever they wanted. I mentioned most of us were running that for the mount, so if they could please collaborate, that would be nice. The straight response was "I'll do your mom for a mount, BITCH", to which I replied "good luck with that, hon. I will also be reporting you". The person was quiet for the entirety of the run and stuck to everyone else. I did not hesitate to report them as soon as I got back to my world and I got the not-so-usual response from the dev team saying they would look into it. That response seems like it's standard, but there were times when I reported players and didn't get that message.

But if they're just sitting there, probably AFK or something, then there's really nothing you can do. Perhaps follow OliviaJ's advice, or remove every decor from your yard. No decor, no randoms loitering around.

Loitering around is one thing, but ERPing in their yard is another thing (presumably in say chat if they're noticing it).

I always leave my house unlocked, I never care who's hanging out. If it bugs me I just lock the door, but usually nah. The worst neighbours I've had were genuinely just confused about what RP is and weren't much of a bother.

Seems like it takes out the point of the housing ward. You're not on an isolated island, and out door decorations are meant for other players to admire. I know I dash through people's yards all the time when I'm making a beeline to the Mist Beach and am not near an aether. Would be horribly inconvenient if I'm about to parkour hardcore to a roof and get hit with an invisible wall.

Also I doubt blocking people outside your gate will help get rid of the creep when they can just stand there and twerk outside your doorstep. You're still seeing them after all.

Make the yard look terrible if its a problem. I see no problems with people passing through my yards and I do cross others yards and water their plants. I don't know if it actually has effect, but I walk around watering peoples plants in the neighborhood incase they forget.
