FFXIV x Parasite Eve

Technically, Aya had Parasite Energy powers, allowing her to tap into her mitochondria to use many kinds of abilities. It was basically magic in a different name. The first game used PE (Parasite Energy), but the sequel used a more traditional MP (Mitochondria Points) branding.

Though when I think on it, maybe their nod are the crocs that you meet near Dragonhead camp/Temple of Qarn much like the rat enemy you meet the first time. Kinda wish we had an Off topic forum so we could just discuss this game alone, I actually played and beat normal like 3 times in a row before tackling the "True" endgame. I mean the idea is certainly interesting and think it could be done if they really wanted to, though when I think on the fact the last use of the IP was a horrible run and gun game, I hold little hope to any kind of cross over or main title.

The crocs at Quarn are just recycled FFXII mobs much like a majority of FFXIV's bestiary is.

If anything they're just a nod to the original game they came from.

Science in the 90's was pretty awesome.
But yeah I get what you mean, I knew it too but its just easier to just say it's magic even if it technically isn't.

Still own it on ps1.. sadly i got around 150 ps 1 games i nvr play anymore due to the console dieing ._.

You can play those games on an emulator through the CD option. It's how I play my old PS1 games since my PS1 died too.
And it's completely legal too since you own the original software.

Parasite Eve was not even in PAL regions. Could never buy it in Australia, so I assume it was never localised for .

The outfit in question was Ayas outfit from 3rd Birthday but there was a code for Dissidia 012 in 3rd Birthday for Lightning (the pic) to wear. However just to say, a lot of her clothes are more modern, I don't know if they would. If they did, they may as well introduce normal outfits, though we do seem to be heading that way going from the whole medieval to victorian in HWs to what we are getting now. So who knows, perhaps?

Indeed. Aya in 3rd Birthday (the 3rd Parasite Eve from where Lightning got the clothes) had many cool outfits that I would love to see in FFXIV, but I think this is just a far dream actually.
