* Registering the Stormblood pre-order code will enable users to play Heavensward content during early access even if they do not possess Heavensward play rights.

So, looks like you'll have access to it on the 16th.

As mentioned before by a few people, I preordered in May , got my Early Access code, and it shows in my mog station. I just got charged for the order on the 9th of June, don't have the option to download/unlock activation key. I have the Collectors PC Digital Download from the SE store. Has anyone figured this out yet?

I can see that I bought it from my transaction history and the theme/avatar that came with it are showing for me, but not the actual pre-order itself. I'm quite worried it won't download in time

You'd have to contact sony, its on their end. However from what i read - as long you have in your transactions and service accounts in PSN you are good to go.

This confused me as well. I called them, they said it will likely be available for download on the 15th. When I asked why it wasn't showing in any of the libraries or download queue, they suggested that was normal. Seems odd to me, but I supposed there's nothing to do expect wait and see.

seems odd it would be available on the 15 considering the timer you can see by trying to access the theme says its should be available tomorrow.

My guess is that it's befcause so long as you already have the game, the expansion download is handled through the game launcher rather than through the PSN's software download feature and/or because the download isn't connected with a purchase.

(The new version that includes Stormblood is simply going to become the current version of FFXIV, just as the now current release includes HW. As such, it will download for everyone with FFXIV, regardless of whether they're getting the expansion or not, just as any regular patch does. The expansion's exclusive features are simply locked for anyone who hasn't purchased it. Otherwise, every expansion would double the number of client applications SE would have to support and keep in sync with each other.)

You are most likely correct. Only thing I am wondering is if the items such as SB early access in the services list denotes the licensing for the game or not since we are dealing with 2 separate entities SE and Sony. Sony has to relay we purchased it somehow for SE to honor the EA.

when you log in after it goes live it will connect it to your SE account. In the PSN PS4 AS notes it said you would have to choose which account to link it to (I have 3 users in my house, myself, the hubby and my cousin). Only after that will it show up.
