    Not quite. They are essentially doing away with the cross skill system. Every ability there now will be available for each role regardless of whether the corresponding job is leveled. So you do not need to unlock or even level Conjurer or Gladiator to access Cleric Stance or Provoke, respectively. Both will be available from the onset.

    Oooh i see. Also will they revamp the useless abilities by traits ? Because for scholars, Ruin is useless since Broil, but it's still useful for SMN, i really wonder how they'll manage that

    yeah its mostly taking things that are cross class now and just making them role based and opened by role lvl not by a specific jobs level from what I can tell. for example when a tank reaches lvl 22 it opens up provoke for the tank role, and then all tanks can equip it from there.

    big part of what they said is also that rotations will not get any more complex than they currently are at 60, so i do expect to see some pruning and skill consolidation, and I am hoping to see accuracy bite the dust.

    If they can clean up the skills this way and add some new post-50 passives to add power to old skills, I'm there 100%.

    What I hope for most is: Enhance Flash II - Adds damage with a potency of 100 to all nearby enemies

    So Flash would have damage and a debuff, to keep it fair for DRK I think the Heavy debuff from PVP should be added to Unleash.

    I'm not sure what you mean? do you mean adding heavy to unleash in pvp? because iirc, Unleash inflicts Bind, not Heavy.

    Or do you mean adding the Bind effect from PvP as just baseline outside of PvP?

    Either way, whether it's bind or heavy, both of those effects are actually negative for tanking in PvE. You'll need to either unleash or abyssal drain while you're still gathering mobs. Bind will completely ruin that and make it useless. Heavy will only make the mobs ball up slower, thus ruining the whole speedrun ex roulette meta we got.
    ....wouldn't be surprised if people actively complained about DRK in DF at that point...

    I think they meant that Rampart and Shadowskin have the same effect as eachother, not the same as foresight. That's how I interpreted it, anyway.

    Thinking more on it, I would really like to see some of the PVP job exclusive skills added to the list of options. PLD's Glory Slash comes to mind. DRK's Carnal Chill, or just a few like that. Hell I don't care if the skills are similar to other skills the class already has. Better so then, if two skills in the class do the same that means player A can use one, and player B the other and both get the job done. Its false diversity but diversity none the less.
