I hate to be that guy (especially since I was actually a winner), but some of these are not haikus. As was stated in the entry rules, and as is the normal rules of a haiku, it must follow the syllable rules of 5-7-5. Entries such as YanDare's (Third Line: "copious drops may snow.", six syllables), kapteenipatteri's (Third Line: "I'll just blame ascians", six syllables), and Saekiyul's (Second Line: "to tiny rustles all around.", six syllables) don't follow these rules where plenty of others do that didn't win.

To continue from my previous post, I'm not jabbing at those people specifically. It's possible they just made mistakes and couldn't rectify them, or they didn't understand the rules of haiku. It just doesn't feel fair to stay silent when others did manage to get theirs down fairly and creatively, even if they weren't good enough for the winner's circle (I personally thought mine was terrible), but that's still better than ones that aren't haikus at all.
