1. Unable to clip through certain objects
Ok so this has always confused me. Why is it that we can 100% clip furnishings through our own placed pillars, partitions etc, yet we cannot do this for the static partitions and pillars that are forced upon us (specifically in mansions).
The pillars on the ground floor in a mansion can be partially clipped - but does not allow you to clip through the middle of it.
Same story with the walls on the upper level - we can clip into them a little, but we cannot go beyond half way.
This is especially annoying for the half partition / hole in the wall on the upper level. I would love to fill in that gap, however I am forced to put my fish tank there to fill the gap - because there is no other attractive way to hide it the gaping big hole in my wall.
2. Allow placement on stairs.
Convert the main platforms on the stairwells to allow objects to be placed on them.
3. Dyable static objects and partitions
Partitions and pillers should be dyable. Wherever there is wood we should be able to die it.
Allow us to dye-
- The timber on stairs
- Pillars that are embedded in the wall
- Trimmings
- Ceiling
- Mantle
- Both static and normal pillars
- Partitions / half partitions
- ORIENTAL PARTION! (Pleassssse let us dye the timber on this at least... It's one of our only two functioning doors, and the only attractive one).
4. Ability to dye certain walls
I understand that some walls shouldn't be dyable - specifically the moogle and starlight walls for example, however with the fantastic new addition to the dyable white partition - allow us to dye certain walls - namingly the 3 city state themed walls. For example, the white on the Oasis wall should be dyable, and the timber on both Glade and Riviera walls should also be dyable.
I have never understood why there are so many restrictions in the interior of houses. The fact that many static objects are not clippable by our own placed objects to begin with baffles me.
