Surecast is a really nice option in PvP, especially if you're doing feast.
As far as holy spam, all that does is make your melee immune to stun quicker.

Cool! Thank you =)

if cleric was given to PvPers, can you imagine a full team with only healers? The game would be broken. At least in PvP healer are expected to heal and not dps since there are A LOT of spike damage...

First part is exactly why Clerics was disabled in PVP. There wasn't -that- much spike damage at a time. Hells, i'd still be #1 in kills due to knock back until 3.0.

Better question: Why are you standing so close to ice that you are getting hit by a holy? Don't do that. It's a ranged/mage LB breeding ground. Feel free to position Eos, but not yourself. Also: The Miamas don't apply Heavy in PVP. Read the tooltips
Honestly, I was on the outskirts with a few other casters and an enemy White Mage was Holy spamming us. I'd be too scared to run in when there are so many enemies near by XD The friend I went in with gave me one piece of advice. Stay with the group. So that's what I do...I just try to not stay too close to the melees or I know I'll get massacred by the enemy XD Also, thanks for telling me about Miasma, didn't realise I wasn't applying heavy.

You need to time your Purify. You're stunned for 6 seconds? Fine. Is anyone in troube? No? Don't trigger purify. WHM holy spam is good - they break their own sleep.
