They're promising a revamped battle system (expect it to still be about the same but with less skill bloat) and swimming which is something. As for story pacing it's probably going to stay the same as what Heavensward put into place because everyone complained about too much filler and fetch Quests from the 2.x series. I do expect them to follow up on the 3 Raid difficulty tiers and I'm hoping that they have something more than just the 4 boss system they've been using since forever. I'd also like to see Dungeons get a change of pace as well like swimming puzzles or something just anything to change it up a bit.
Other than stuff like that I don't see it dramatically changing. They have a formula and it does work and a lot of people are happy with it.
Open world PVP that you can't opt out of is the only thing I can think of that would make me quit.
I love the cross-server PF. more people to do more stuff with.
I especially love that you have the option to turn it off if you don't like it.
Thats an awesome feature ☺️

It's a feature we should have had years ago actually. It makes content more accessible in the PF when you have way more people to do it with. It's basically a glorified Duty Finder now. Even on more populated servers it was hard to find a PF because so many people get intimidated by it due to the excessive amount of toxic players that disband after 1-3 wipes and boot if you mess up once.
Well my post was just an assumption.
You will always see this kind of PF even in cross-world PF, if it's a farm party i don't expect any wipe.
