What would it take for you to quit the game?

Well obviously I've not "never looked back." But I quit shortly after final coil came out because I was pretty done with tome farming, raid group drama and the absolute garbage the community was about extremes. Came back for a bit when Heavensward came out, but after about a month of Alexander Savage I didn't like where the devs were in regards to content design and artificial challenge barricades (re: bosses that can't be beaten because you literally can not do enough damage with the gear available.) and the tomestone game was still as stagnant and terrible as it was in 2.0, (plus the two jobs I enjoyed the most got incredibly obnoxious rotation adjustments.)

I've been playing again for about a month now, mostly with some friends who are relatively new to the game. Haven't touched expert roulette and probably never will again.

I will see what changes come with Stormblood but unless the endgame treadmill dynamic gets some tweaks, fixes or straight up overhauls it probably won't be for long.

That all being said, if the few friends who still play this game decide to go, I won't look back.
