That is so funny, because I know an American that will kick someone out of their party to get 5 more SP per kill.... It is people like that put a hamper on our interactions.

Ah, thank you for the clarification! I agree with them 100% as well, the RMT were a major problem in FFXI and I don't think anyone in any country would like to see them again! So at least we can all agree on that!

I'm against it simply because I would have absolutely no one to play with on my time since I'm an english speaking person living in EU atm aside from the brits not there is anything wrong with them it's just they are an unusually small player base on the server I am on now. I wouldn't have even bothered with the game if that was the case. But fortunately there is no segregation of servers and I can at least play with other EU players that speak or understand english ^^

I don't want separate servers. The mixed languages can give the cities in FFF14 the same feel as in real life cities. Ever go to the mall and hear groups of people speaking languages you don't understand? happens here all the time.It just adds diversities to the atmosphere of the game.

My obvious answer would amount to, "No, thanks. I like it this way".

Difference and diversity add to the mix, while playing brings us together. It's nice to see players from different corners of the world working together towards a common goal during a behest or a quest, and it gives us a broader perspective.

Also, it does make sense amidst the cultural melting pot of Eorzea, and language-based "segregation" would take that charm away.

Onward ho to victory then - together!

Agreed. We are already having to deal with a limited population. I remain a little hopeful that by the time ps3 release hits then we may gain some new players as well. But if they keep building on the Auto Translate function like they did with ffxi, then I have no problems with multiple ethnicities / languages playing the game.

Shout out can be a little annoying at times but unless it's the occasional troll, it's generally not too bad.

    international servers are great.
I love this kind of MMOs where the whole world is connected together.
Meeting ppl from other nations is what I really love.

There would be absolutely no reason to separate the servers based on language. For starters there's already "unofficial" language/region servers. Auto-translate takes care of most basic communication needs. Furthermore if you're really looking for a group of people who speak a certain language you could always find a specific linkshell.
