    Food is useless

    ...at endgame for all but Savage raiders.

    I did a comparison of my character's stats at various levels, and the actual benefits of using food, other than the 3% experience bonus, have such diminishing returns that it's not even worth using.



    The amount of damage that the bonus translates into is so negligible, its value is next to nothing.
