Bard burst is easy to spot and is really predictable. If you see a bard popping all his buffs, he has you targeted and you have both Venomous Bite and Windbite on you you should either prepare to bene/tetra once the damage hits or even swiftcast a Cure 2.
You are saying you had the time to swiftcast a stone on him, so that means even though tetra was on cooldown you could have possibly survived by swiftcasting a Cure 2 instead. Attunement is also an option.

Well..... for a start.... why would you swiftcast stone? and why would heavy stop a ranged dps from attacking you? he is ranged......

yes bard is powerful and yes you need to know how he bursts to be able to counter heal, you have lots of pvp skills that can help with that too, purify is the single most powerful skill in pvp, sacred prism lasts a while and gives you a lot of physical damage protection.

Person was running away so I did that so others could kill them, when you do frontline, all you can do is heal and be annoying to others, a bit boring at times.

Basically it was a 1 on 1 with trying allow others to catch them, so if I cant do damage at all as a healer, why do I die so easily? After the stone landed they tuned around and killed me without me being able to do anything.

Also Holmgang is a free kill, when that is used on me I am unable to move or cast anything? it confuses me, I just sit there unable do nothing till I die

What I said was all was used,, there was no buffs, the person turned around after i hit them with stone and I was dead before my GC was ready.

None of the skills that hit you are on global cooldown. Empyreal arrow, Farshot, Bloodletter, Blunt arrow, Sidewinder, and Misery's End has their own respective cooldown. Out of those listed, Empyreal Arrow is the only one with a cast time. The rest of the others come quickly and successively right after, and again are not on global cooldown.

I'm not saying this to be nasty or anything....but ^ coupled with the fact you swiftcast stone...you sound like you have no idea how to PVP. Which is completely fine. It can be difficult transitioning into PVP: Skills that have little PVE use are often kings here. Was you close to him? You could have used Fluid Aura to interupt him for a second to get off a cure. You -should- have Swiftcast > Repose > healed yourself and waited for your team.

I'm both. And BRD is honestly a one-trick pony. It has its burst window, and that is all that it has. There are God knows how many things you can do as a WHM to negate the BRD burst. Virus, Stoneskin, Sacred Prism, Attunement, Tetra, Bene. Swiftcast>Repose> Repose. Or just bloody KITE. If you can keep a BRD from planting their feet for 15 seconds, they cannot kill you. Period. So no, it's not a hack, nor is it a BRDs being OP issue. It's an L2P issue. You'll get better. Just stop using "OMG, BRD2OP" as a crutch.
