As someone who plays a Bard, I can confirm this is simply Bard burst. Bard is a DPS class that was designed to be a Burst class. We do high damage for our opener but then as the fight carries on our substainable damage drops and other classes over take us DPS wise. In PvP, where the battles are much shorter than Boss fights in PvE, this makes Bard a very effective killer when it comes to squisher classes.

Empyreal Arrow, Blood Letter, Far Shot and Blunt Arrow are all on seperate GCDs. The reason for this is because, before Wandener's Minute, Bard was designed as a Double oGCD class. So, we would hit something on GCD (Like Straight shot), then begin weaving in our oGCDs, which we have...frankly, a lot of.

What you are seeing here is simply part of that old design coming into play with the NEW design, which allows us to hit Barrage, which will turn the next hit into a triple attack and is, 99% of the time, used with Empyreal Arrow due it's damage output. There is also a very good chance this Bard had their CDs up (which I don't know if those show in the combat log or not), as we usually pop Internal + Raging, Blood 4 Blood + Hawk's eye before starting our burst combo. Plus, when a target is at 20% or less HP we have an 'execute' known as Misery's End that will proc that is ALSO on it's own timer.

I know it sucks to be taking down so quickly by a hail of attacks, and as a Bard myself, I've been torn to pieces by other bards, melee DPS and tanks because our spoony body doesn't hold up to much. In the future, if you see a bard, use shields and, if you have backup from your team, get close to the Bard. In PvP, a Bards damage LESSENS the closer (and, if I recall if you are TO far away) they are to the target, so there is a sweetspot Bards usually aim for when targetting someone that you can mess up by going closer or further from them. Also, you can invest in the Vit upgrades under PvP traits, and bring some vit accesories to pad HP.
