Did Rukkirii just say level sync??
Level sync! awesome!

Please, I beg of you. Don't reintroduce level sync. It's a community killer. Why group up with random people and meet new faces when you can simply level sync with your friends and LS mates? Please don't even consider SE, please.

Why XP with random people looking for members if you're out of their level range?

Level Sync FTW!
Thank you, Rukkirii. Your Opo-opo princessdom remains unquestionable.

What's good about level sync? What's so "FTW" about it? Seriously, do tell. What's it do other than you never having to meet new people?

One good thing to think about with the level sync; will be the ability to invite people who is higher then your party that is also seeking xp and making a full party more quicker. Also you can look at it this way more chance of getting into a party if you can be synced down then trying to search for people around your level, when this was added in 11 it made a huge differences in xping till abyssea was added.

It allows you to not meet new people, but also inversely it allows you to play with more new people then you could before. Its a convenience feature that only aids a persons playing experience, as for community issues they just need to create more events or gameplay that demands more community work, could world events, maybe server PvP games, community crafting, or simply an lfg system that pulls people system wide and a level sync feature would only aid to this system. If you want to talk about 'community' destroying features complain about instanced lfg across servers, at least with level sync you are actually playing with people in your community.

As it is right now you could just choose to have your friends power level you and never party with new people. This is the most illogical thing anyone could say against level sync.
Right now, players tend to form exp groups that have a difference of 5-7 levels. This gap makes a huge difference when you decide what level mobs to fight. Take the example range of 30-37. If you have 6 party members that are level 30 and 2 members that are level 37, the party is not going to be able to consistently chain mobs that would be ideal for the two 37s. You're going to end up at an exp camp with mobs that are between level 36-39. Thus, the six level 30s basically gain great exp at the sacrifice of the two 37s.
The point of level sync is to allow pick ups or pre mades to eliminate the annoying gap in levels so you can exp at a mob camp much more efficiently. How can you argue against that?
