Sounds like you are more emotionally invested in a simple issue than I am lol. I just understand shit happens, since I work on server hardware for a living. It breaks, code breaks, its not perfect.Sorry I have expectations that a service I pay for wont Trump the bed repeatedly. Its like they either refuse to learn from past mistakes, or do not invest properly in their testing process and you the consumer gets to pay for it.
I have no idea whats wrong with people that defend garbage service from am unfeeling bottom dollar corporation. Get your head checked and let the rest of us hold them accountable as consumers should.
Here we go....again

This isn't being caused my a bug; server uptime should in no way be affected by a patch. Plus, as others have stated, other companies really haven't had issues nearly this bad. In fact, even FFXI was better than this, to my recollection, and that was a far older game.
I share Beeraga's frustrations here. It's not so much a matter of emotional investment; it's the fact that saying 'well, shit happens' excuses SE completely for what borders on incompetence in this case.
I would understand your perspective if someone were blaming an individual, but a company...? SE could easily be investing enough in this title to not have this happen. I'm sure you know, as someone who works on server hardware for a living, that hardware on its last legs (as an example) is far more likely to break down than high-quality stuff. Coupled with the fact that this doesn't happen nearly as often with other major titles, even F2P titles, and we have a right to criticize.

I think you guys might have an addiction. Relax.
Gah connected, then gave me a 10105...
It also had less people playing on it, and the servers didn't really give you a choice on where to go. Aether is the most populated datacenter in XIV, and this, it has issues the others don't, namely, it can't handle the stresses it wasn't designed for. And more people keep transferring to Balmung and Gilgamesh.
SE just needs to perma lock the servers.
I was in Bismarck for my trial and when I left I got kicked. It said there were 426 people in que, yay? Welp guess I'll try early tomorrow.
I like helping people with their Job ideas, it's fun to help them visuallize and create the job they'd like to play most. Plus I make my own too, I'll post them eventually.
Well, this is frustrating. Oh well.
So is this just going to be a daily thing now? I mean I'm sure I'm not the only one that wants to get my chores (Anima) over and done with and then just go back to doing dailies and playing fun games in between those (thinking DQ 8 and KH 2.8).
