I don't want to feed the fire here but if Animation Lock was "Yoshi-'s Vision", then why is he getting rid of animation lock in 2.0? You -can- have archers be able to have their single-shot firing without having to lock them into an animation for 3 seconds after the damage was dealt. What you want is for archers to have to stay still in order to shoot, which is fine, but make it cancel-able in a heated situation.

And also, I'm fairly sure archers in RL were/are able to run and shoot at the same time. Sure, it might not be as accurate, but if you're in a situation where you're needing to run in order to avoid fire, then the enemy is most likely close enough for you to be able to knock an arrow, run and aim, and then release with a decent amount of accuracy instead of just aimlessly shooting them through the air. ESPECIALLY a target as big as Ifrit.
