World Transfer using Steam Wallet funds (2017 version)

Hello all! I recently got back into FF14 after a year or so and during that time my friend started playing again, problem being that we are on different worlds, I have searched Google for answers but everything I found was from the years 2015 to FF14 release date, stating that I cannot pay for world transfers using the steam wallet, it has been 2 years now, has SE provided a means to do this? If not, any suggestions as to what I should do with these 20 Gaben dollahs?

Just used world transfer myself, and it's safe to say that the entire process is being worked by Mogstation.
You need to select the right account you're using to play, then select the world that you want to transfer to, and finally the world that you're currently playing on.

Important: Check for yourself because there are a lot of conditions that you need to take care of before transfer, like not having too much gil, and not having anything for sale.

Before you start the transfer process, make sure that you logged out of the game outside any instanced area and/or outside any residential area.

Important: After the transfer process, you'll be moved back to a screen on Mogstation that can confuse you as it can look like that you must create another account.

DO NOT DO ANYTHING TO YOUR ACCOUNT!

Instead wait for a confirmation E-mail telling you that the transfer process was completed successfully, and that you can now log in to the game and play.
