New Cross Server PF is Intimidating

I have to respect the development team for their work trying to deal with such a culture clash getting the same things to work on both JP and non-JP server groups. PF conversations? Cross-world politics? Selling runs? Selling houses? It's like another world in every sense :s

Ours is literally just a bunch of Zurvan/WT/Alex Savage groups peppered with a few RPers having fun and occasional first timers wanting a fresh run through Haukke Manor to train their newbie friend etc. I think the most edgy thing I've ever seen in PF was a drunk person suggesting an all-night bird farm. These anecdotes are on another level.

Those are just the more common annoying ones that congest the PF. The most edgy ones I've seen on Aether are along the lines of "Join the Honey Pot Discord Server for lewd minds and lewd conversations" and things along the lines of "Adorable Lallafel looking for sexy Miqotes for sultry adventures."

I would also like to point out that not one of these came from Balmung, thank you.

This is one the best things to happen to the game, it's awesome seeing how busy the pf is now.

Once people realize that you can't really sell runs to people on other servers, I imagine it will be much better.

I kind of expect that there are people who do realize that but put up crossworld PFs anyway to make sure the players on their world see their PF. Saw two PFs up yesterday advertising for the same group selling runs, one PF limited to the world, one PF in crossworld.

I just want to see less advertisements that have nothing do with me. For example, Savage sales from servers that aren't my own; or advertisements for being able to craft anything in-game, again from another server; and even FC recruitments form servers also not my own.

These ads make the PF look cluttered and ugly, and sometimes I don't wanna skim through it cause it's full of junk I can't even reply to.

Oh, and one guy was told to off himself, but I'm not sure if that was serious.

That seems pretty par for the course after 2 wipes.

I used to pull up the PF and see, at most, 8. Usually the same people birb farming or what not. So, when I joined I knew what I was getting into.

Now, it's 40+ PF's, and most are from other servers. I'm just worried how toxic some of the parties may become because of the ambiguity.

Anyone else feel this way?

Haven't seen many toxic parties in Primal. Several people in other servers were pretty helpful on many instances like Zurvan Ex and AS12. I honestly don't see anything wrong with it.

I hope they eventually let us add people to our friends list from other servers, I've met some cool people so far with cross pf.

Nothing toxic/out of the ordinary so far, just the same it used to be except with many more choices now, having a lot of fun and good runs

Are there ways to include cross-server friends into a LS or onto your friendslist? Or whisper them?
