Incredibly disappointed with the paintings

Bought the Rathefrost one thinking it would be a beautiful colourful painting of the crystal tree in Mor Dhona. Instead it's exactly the same as the Sightseeing thumbnail, with that brown sepia filter over the top.

I really thought they would add some beautiful colors to this paintings especially considering the time taken to acquire them all but no.

Whats the point of having paintings of these landscape paintings if they don't show the colours?

It's a cool concept and all but I wasn't holding my breath for it. I can't even place one in my house anyway as my item allocations are being used up with essential layout stuff.. Nowhere near the slots to start hanging paintings.. They need to give us more slots before adding these fiddly little things that take up the same allocation as a gigantic partition.

I have been saying this for a year+ now, and I couldn't agree with you more!!!

Item limit needs to be doubled(at bare minimum) long before ANY more furniture is added.

I like the idea of the paintings!!, I am still glad they added them. hopefully they will allow our personal screenshots to be framed one day as that would be the best idea to date.

BUT please SE I pray item limit is #1 change for housing in the expansion...I have an entire floor completely blocked off and empty in both the FC home and my personal home due to the small item limit.

Lol I wouldn't go thattttt far to say they shouldn't release any new furnishings until then..... That's like penalising us for no reason :P

I think Small houses are fine, and Medium aren't too horrible... But large - for the space we get, it's very difficult to fill it without artificially making our rooms smaller with partitions etc or skimping on any kind of detail.. But yes we definitely need more slots..

Not all of the paintings are the same as what you see in the Sightseeing Log, for whatever that's worth. Some are more like what you expected; those don't say they are based off of notes compiled from the sightseeing log on the tooltip, and they are typically in somewhat brighter colors.
