Fleeting Rays Orchestrion Roll

Hello!

My boyfriend and I are trying to look for the Fleeting Rays Orchestrion Roll to add to our collection but neither of us can seem to find it. Is anyone else having trouble finding it?


This is what Gamer Escape tells me when I search for it online:

But in-game when I go to the actual location, there's nothing to be found:



I am not sure if it's absence is a bug, but if it's actually found else where, could you please assist? I would be most grateful if you could!

You probably need to complete the related FATEs to save the other Highbridge people. The tiny rat minion is locked behind the same FATE (I believe).

I'm betting it's in his list of wares only after winning the FATE chain related to Highbridge

There's a fate that spawns right by there that has 3 phases. You'll need to successfully complete all 3 phases for that merchants to carry all the extra goodies (his suppliers get carried off if you fail).

Just run into this very same issue last night. I'm not sure if it's a time limited item or a bug, but I swear when I went there to purchase the orchestrion scroll, the npc also sells a little rat minion. When my fc mate went over to purchase the orchestrion scroll, it wasn't there, I then travel over personally and couldn't find the scroll too. Also, I'm pretty sure there was another npc standing next to that popoto vendor when I purchase the orchestrion scroll in daytime (Eorzea time)...

Maybe you can only purchase it when the fate is active? Will test again later when servers are up and follow up here.

Edit: Can confirm the scroll is linked to the fate as other mentioned.

A friend of mine just sent that particular scroll to me inside my ingame mail. He said in the message he obtained it from a Fate (few hours ago). So I don't know the specifics but it seems to be working.

Yes, completing the series of Highbridge FATEs (it's done after killing the big Qiqirn boss) will change the selection of wares for the NPC If the FATEs are lost due to no one doing them, the NPC's selection will be reduced again.

Attack on Highbridge: Prelude
Attack on Highbridge: Act I
Attack on Highbridge: Act II

Complete those three FATEs and the vendor inventory will expand to include it.

I have the achievement Curtain Call which is to complete "Attack on Highbridge: Act III" and Chachamun's inventory still doesn't change.

Chachamun's inventory resets after some time and you have to complete all related Highbridge FATEs again to expand it again.
Nothing is linked here to any achievement, everyone can buy the minion, scroll and the other goods from the expanded vendor list after the FATE series is completed successfully, even if they didn't participated in even one of the FATEs.
