Garo event for casters

It's based on a pre-existing series where priests (casters) are completely worthless for killing more than standard-level monsters, and you expect all casters to get special armor like the melee knights? The series even makes a point to show that they don't teach knights magic and priests aren't expected to be any good in a real fight.

I'm quoting this here because it's true. While I don't necessarily agree with the design decision, the armor was specifically designed with the series standards in minds and it has a distinct barrier between the magic users and the melee classes along with some gender segregation. Hell, according to series canon, females aren't even supposed to be able to wear the wolf style armor, but SE didn't go THAT far in this case. Again, not saying I agree with this choice, but that's the context of it.

There is definitely a bit of a bias - the melee titles are really cool too - but if they unlocked the gender restriction on the unique pieces (female hats, please) it would feel a lot better, and I do like the paintbrush.

Almost every girl on my server seems to have one of the caster tops glamoured at the moment. It's sort of doubly insulting when the awesome armour is not gender locked but our several identical pairs of plain pants are both job and gender locked. At least make the highlights a different colour for the different jobs :s

In any case, it finally gives me an excuse to level those unwanted melee jobs and pray that we'll get access to those cool hats later on. I'm used to sharing the exact same mediocre model between my five main jobs at this point; casters haven't had a great time with glamour in 3.x.

I dont play DoM jobs at all but even I'll admit, you guys got the shot stuck this one lol. Alot of caster gear's really beautiful, like some of the pieces from FCoB, smn artifact, etc. But it just didnt happen this time around. Aaaah well..so happy with drg lolol.

I got both smn and mnk gear, love them both. The smn gear reminds of the older demon armor.

Ikr? If the brush was actually dyeable I would give it a shot, but it stays the same color IIRC.

I guess it's about preferences, i will never use the drk garo armor, but i would love to have the option to glamour some range sets as i prefer leather armor, SE should make the MGP version (if it exists) usable by all jobs, even if it's not dyeable.
