Option to turn on Chat bubble?

Would love a chat bubble. ATM I'm thinking of the /shout animation you got in WoW when you shouted anything XD. This would be so good in FFXIV .

Agree! I would love to have that option as well, and the chatting animations as well like mentioned (we see them in Cutscenes, why not have them overall) ;v;

I am so glad I am not the only one would love chat bubble. But after done some googling, it is highly unlikely we are going to get one. Something to do with PS3 limitation. sigh. I guess it would be faster to wait for FFXIX online to come out 1st

PS3 limitations will be out of the window in a few months.

I would like an option for chat bubbles too, or at least floating text like it already exists in the game for some NPC.

Yeah there should be an option to turn it off if they ever going to implement it. It is likely gil seller will love this feature and ready to abuse it! XD

I support this 100%, as long as it can be toggled on and off and they don't take up the entire screen. My idea for this is all chat bubbles could appear small. For example, someone types, "Hey, you guys wanna join me for a run in Alexander?" The chat bubble would only show "Hey, you guys..." and to expand it, we simply need to click on it. That should help fight gil seller spam, should they try to utilize the chat bubbles.

Yeah, I don't think it is going to be implemented anytime soon due to PS3 limitation. Fortunately, they are grandfathering PS3 support so I guess it is going to happened eventually.

I would like this it'd add some extra immersion and also be great for those nice quiet times where you're just chilling in a swell sexy tub party with a few other people and chatting
