Do you really want them to slap on a handful of extra hours of maintenance suddenly? That's what you're asking for. While I get that 2 instances of it are a headache, expecting them to just move up plans for a scheduled hotfix to RIGHT NOW when servers have a critical immediate issue that needs addressing is a bit much. Do they have the work force available right now to do it? Is the hotfix actually ready to be deployed?

I mean, I really do get the frustration about it, but stop and consider the reality of what you're asking. Companies tend to schedule things for a reason.
