Aether Worlds offline question

So ALL Worlds, not just Aether Worlds now, are apparently offline right now for emergency maintenance.....heres a thought SE, why not just perform the emergency maintenance AND the actual maintenance you were planning on doing later this evening on All Worlds? I hope you'll do that cause in all honesty, seeing as how you were planning to bring down all worlds at 10pm PST tonight anyways, this emergency maintenance on All Worlds plus another maintenance tonight, is really inconvenient.

tl:dr please dont hit the same servers with two instances of maintenance on the same day, that would be again very inconvenient and not a very good use of time.

Aethers issues arn't everyones issues. We've always had our own little error bubble.
I welcome multiple maints, more so since one is a hot fix and this is a "whoops, it broke again" maint.

I highly doubt they'll cancel tonight's maintenance. They're doing that one on all worlds, not just in Aether.

It would not be more convenient for them to do that...and they wont.

Only aether is having issues and they will obviously not close all other data centers to do a maintenance early because of a single data center.

To be honest scheduling tonight's Maint now for aether exclusively brings about the issue of burning up our data center again due to having all data centers logging into Aether data center just to play the game. It's a bad idea.

Do you really want them to slap on a handful of extra hours of maintenance suddenly? That's what you're asking for. While I get that 2 instances of it are a headache, expecting them to just move up plans for a scheduled hotfix to RIGHT NOW when servers have a critical immediate issue that needs addressing is a bit much. Do they have the work force available right now to do it? Is the hotfix actually ready to be deployed?

I mean, I really do get the frustration about it, but stop and consider the reality of what you're asking. Companies tend to schedule things for a reason.

ONLY Aether is down right now. If you look at the Server Status list all the others are currently online.

What was even the problem? I hear people calling this a "Fatal" or "Lethal" issue with the Aether Worlds, no where that I have read so far has even bothered to explain WHAT the problem is.

Major Patch Notice to everyone. Things will break. You can't TEST STRESS, Live environments to the scale needed. Also you can think of what might go wrong.

As a paid Game Tester. I get a clean build of the software with no info about the software. Why. Because when DEV test they go from point A to B to C to D... I goto A B ooo what's this. CRASH / BROKEN CODE / I got stuck when I went here. And they go.. How did you get there. I upload play video. and they patch.. and test and give me a new build a few days later.
