^^ I can't contact these people in game because they're on different servers than me. However, the cross-server party thing allowed me to meet and play with them for a ton of fun farming!

If you look in the main menu, you should find a section called "Contacts". People you've recently played with appear in this window, and it allows you to add people from other servers to your friends list and allows you to send them tells

Wait what?! You can send people from other servers tells now? That's awesome~

I've always thought it'd be cool if commendation system expanded or something, friends beyond the veil (void) - if for some reason you really liked someone you could send them a gift or what have you. Sometimes I feel really bad I can't comm the whole group ;/

Not true. There is no cross server friendlist, you can only talk to them when you are partied with them. The only thing you can do from the recently played list is blacklist them.

After looking at it again, you're right. I took "World" to mean "Datacenter" in the help dialogue in the main menu. Don't even know why >= Sorry for the misinformation!
