I wish... (QoL wishes/ideas)

I'm generally pretty exceptable of whatever they put in the game and just play along, my experiences with people are mostly great (probably due to my great patience), I don't really have much to complain about.

But every once in a while... for example when I like a new piece of glamour and look for something matching and can't find anything because the selection of tops in this game is somewhat unsatisfying (at least in my opinion). It seems there is either too little fabric to cover my character or simply TOO MUCH! They are too short or too long. Too this or too that! #!%§!!

Today is such a day. So after some back and fourth I find myself with a piece of "glamour" that I've really liked since the very first start of the game and oohhh how I would love to glamour it and wear it and.... you know.
But I can't, because it's not officially glamour I guess, it's only for Disciple of War. SHAME. I play Disciple of Magic only basically. *sadface*

Therefor...

I wish that SE would make the wonderful Hempen Tunic (don't laugh!!) available for all classes. :-)
Admit it, it's beautiful!!



Or even better, make an actual glamour that looks like it, maybe a little shorter so I can wear shorts with it! Oh and make a longsleeve version while you're at it!!

I wish we could preview any gear in the fitting room. I know we are only one race or gender, but maybe give a generic stand in if we are trying to preview a piece of gear that is not for our current race/gender combo. Would make making glamours for retainers, which is surprisingly important to me much easier.

If we are talking little changes, I would love the Ancient Buckler. In game the Sword & Board touting Brass Blades. In the player side the buckler is THM/BLM only.

Maybe let GLD/PLD use it too?

YES! This is the option I use the most in DF, I switch between in progress and not fairly often, and now I have to go all the way into a separate menu to do it. This stuff is fiddly enough on the PS4 with a controller, don't make it harder than it needs to be SE please.

The first thing I did when I noticed the little highlighted icons at the top of DF (showing you that you have certain settings enabled) was try and click them to toggle them on/off. I was very disappointed when that didn't work.

I know it's an extra click - but this "update" to move this into the settings menu is a pointless and annoying update.

This game seems to like menus within menus. It drives me insane how many clicks you need to do to do small things like this. Just add a small sidebar on the left/right of the DF with these checkboxes.

I can totally agree with this. There are so many silly little restrictions on pieces of gear that totally stifle glamouring effort and there's no reason for them to be there. I get why racial and artifact gear is exclusive, also I get why we don't want healers wearing heavy plate armour a lot of people would find it immersion breaking (personally i'm like w/e but hey), but there's no reason for this nice little hempen tunic should be DoW only and not DoM, and many events where the reverse is true, SE really needs to look over some of the restrictions on these pieces of gear and realize that Glamouring is a MAJOR part of why a lot of people play this game, and try and be a little more accommodating towards making glamouring a more enjoyable and less frustrating/restricted process.
