Edit: Nevermind, on second read, you DID see that and didn't agree with it and/or wanted something more/different.

I'll just throw in my opinion since I'm already here. I prefer the one-click option they are proposing over the opportunity to multi-select gear simply because it makes it more cumbersome when you don't have multiple things to repair, and allowing both options just adds unneeded complexity.
