    Thanks, that definitely helps. I wasn't certain if my current gear would retain the stats or not. I was about to convert some of it to materia once 1.20 drops just to get rid of it being it was useless. Now that I know otherwise it's much better. And any idea if you'll be able to dye uncolored gear that has materia equipped to it already?

    Yes, after dyeing an uncolored piece of gear with materia on it, the materia will remain. Also, if dyeing an HQ piece of gear, the gear will remain HQ after dyeing, regardless of dye quality.
