I'm from switzerland, and we got something like "direct democracy", that means,we the citizens, decide how things works -> laws and such
there of course are also laws to protect minorities and such, and im happily living in a country like this, because things are working pretty well

if everybody would live like u're thinking (special snowflake thinking) and SE had to fullfill every wish in here, things wouldn't work,so they have to see what attracts the wider public.

As i said before, we as the bigger part of the game, dont want it, because we dont need it - there is no discussion about that

Listen, I am sorry I did that, okay? I cant change it now and since then I tried very hard to engage in either a healthy discussion or even a friendly conversation with you - I still wouldnt mind you making an alt on Odin to see if we cant engage in a more friendly conversation and I am dead serious here.
At this point I honestly dont understand what you want anymore - at least I have given you reasons why I dont believe the systems you've proposed are a good idea. I even made suggestions how to maybe find a compromiss - you ignored all of that.
Your research on why friendship is helping people with anxiety doesnt really matter because its not relevant to a gaming company - they dont have to care about our well being out of the game. That would be like asking them to provide a service thats way behond their authority. If done sloppy it will cause more harm than good...

Make a new thread - and I suggest that you take all the feedback here to heart. Several people have told you now that certain phrases/attitudes shown by you are coming of disrespectful - if you want a healthy discussion you might want to refrain from that, its not helping your point.

Is there a way to hide particular threads from view? I'm tired of seeing this on the front page, and apparently he's just going to bump it every time it dies (until hopefully a mod locks it, which I'm deeply surprised hasn't happened yet).

Evidently not. The ignore list in general settings only hides an individual's posts, not their threads.

You dont want a debate. you want an entire community to agree with you wholeheartedly. For some reason your lack of success on a EB thread has made you think you deserve differently, so you want SE to fix it. You want a reason why this should not exist? HERE'S MINE. This shouldnt exist solely b/c of fact this is not a dating web service. This is a MMORPG last i checked. It doesnt cater to ERPers or say absolutely it can or cant exist. And dont even go there about not being what you want. Ive read PLENTY of threads, posts and EVERY time i just shake my head in disgust and laugh it off. Reason no1 wants "you" in the EB thread is simply b/c no1 wants what "you" want. NO ONE.
