Less content in the Stormblood when compared to Heavensward?

If there is only two new jobs, no new race and zero customization added I'll be somewhat disappointed. Not saying I want all those things, but since we aren't getting a new race can we at least have three jobs? Or more customization options for current races ...

Yoshida hinted at 3 jobs twice already, so I am hoping the last two get announced in a few weeks here.

We had two fanfests with announcements of Stormblood's content.

Out of 3. This thread is a bit premature don't you think? Wait until all of the content has been announced before you complain about how little of it there is.

I may be wrong but isn't the whole 'increased budget' thing a myth? If somebody could link me to a direct source then that would be pretty great. Personally I'm hoping that the development team are being secretive and that the next Fan Fest will announce something pretty major as an additional feature. My preference would be major updates to the character creation system. We're not getting a new race and we don't really need one when many of the existing playable races are in dire need of some tweaks to make them more appealing/popular.

We may have 2/3rd of the content announced, sure, but we don't know how much time this content will take.

They announced "challenging dungeons". Will it be 5 dungeons ? 7 ? 15 ? We won't know until the proper release.
They announced Eureka but we have no real information on it too. This sole content could keep us busy for months if done properly.

Let's keep an open mind for now and hope they learn from the flaws of Heavensward

I would rather take two jobs and interesting, well-developed content on a regular schedule, than the unbalanced mess that 3.0 was followed by five months of absolutely nothing.

OP please go back and look at what we knew of Heavensward with only 2/3 FanFests held. What we have now is roughly comparable to what we had then. The final FanFest will reveal much more and go into a lot more detail on many of the new systems.

Whilst I too have never seen proof of the tripled budget claim it does seem likely based on what has been announced, though not for the reasons many would like to believe. Yoshi has announced a series of sweeping changes to improve inventory and various other things that will cost quite a lot in terms of storage capacity and rewrites of fundamental systems. Those changes are going to be expensive. They definitely will have received a considerably larger budget to accommodate those changes.

Yoshi in a recent interview mentioned that he unveiled only the 50% of content SB will have. So we don't have 2/3 of the content but 2/4. Seems he left out most of the announcements for the last Fan Fest. We really don't know much of the expansion yet. Heck even didn't see the new areas yet except from some artworks. Before we judge something let's first see it ok?

This is why we all are posting here, it has been indeed said that the budget is higher; yet the content offered seems less than HW had in...Why? Each expansion should be bigger than the last, else people are going to become tired of all the monotony.

Maybe we'll get more patches and quicker ?
If the budget was triple it does not mean all of it will be used in the launch of SB

Keep in mind, on top of all the new content, zones, quests etc etc they are apparently reworking the battle system...

This includes a lot of planning and balancing on top of the presumed new 60-70 skills. Considering this, I can totally understand why they are limiting it to two new jobs - as throwing another job in the mix would just multiply the amount of planning and balancing by a good chunk.
